Summary
SUMMARY: SUMMARY:The Sleep Technologist/Technician works under the general supervision of the Medical Director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. Other duties as assigned. A Sleep Technologist/Technician must have good oral, written, and listening communication skills. Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses, and other ancillary professional staff; and maintain good interpersonal relationships with public, patients, physicians, and other medical center staff.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist)
EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent
