Join the Progressive Care Renal/Tele Unit, where you’ll be a part of a dedicated group of professionals focusing strongly on renal and dialysis patients, telemetry monitoring, and specialized procedures. PCU Renal/Tele provides advanced renal and dialysis care, including hemodialysis, continuous cycler peritoneal dialysis (CCPD), and continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). The unit provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and meaningful patient impact. The unit thrives on strong interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with physicians, dialysis specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, RN, LPN, you will play a vital role in the care of patients by performing basic nursing care and support tasks on assigned units.
• Provide patient care such as: ambulation, bathing, toileting, obtaining vital signs, all while maintaining a safe environment.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to accurately convey patient information to RN, LPN and other members of the team in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills to accurately record vital patient information.
  
  

Experience: Hospital experience-Preferred

License/Certification/Education

• BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)-Required
• High School or Equivalent-Preferred
