Job Title: Planning Staff
Department: OSCC
Reports To: Planning Assistant Manager
SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, provide administrative support to a department and/or manager. Perform general clerical, record keeping, receptionist, and project-based work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Effectively communicate/ work closely with our customers
- Aid timely resolution of quality issues with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Review regularly processes to streamline, improve throughout and reduce paperwork and rework.
- Monitor and assist in maintaining parts inventory to avoid delay in production and ensure that all orders are filled within a timely manner.
- Attend required internal training.
- Make effective independent decisions, and aids in coordinating all day-to-day office functions.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations, as well as work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.

- MUST be willing to learn/ operate Scissor Lift/ PIV
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand for 8 hours; walk the entirety of the warehouse floor; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
May be called in to fill in on floor processes such as Train Build, Route Delivery, and other areas in need depending on the needs of the company.
