Summary
We are looking for a skilled AWS Backend Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js and AWS serverless technologies, with experience building secure, event-driven, and highly available applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS services.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway and Node.js.
Develop and manage AWS Lambda functions for business workflows and backend processing.
Design and optimize NoSQL database solutions using Amazon DynamoDB.
Implement asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures using Amazon SNS and Amazon SQS.
Manage file storage and processing using Amazon S3.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and configure alerts using Amazon CloudWatch.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization within AWS environments.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Node.js.
Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda.
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs using Amazon API Gateway.
Strong knowledge of Amazon DynamoDB data modelling and query optimization.
Experience with Amazon SNS and Amazon SQS for event-driven and messaging solutions.
Experience working with Amazon S3 for object storage and file management.
Proficiency in monitoring and logging using Amazon CloudWatch.
Good understanding of serverless architecture and AWS best practices.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT or OAuth.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
AWS Certification (AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate) is an advantage.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, AWS SAM, or Terraform) is desirable.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience
