Job Summary
NJR Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Pipe/Grading Foreman to lead and oversee pipeline construction and grading operations on active project sites. This role is vital in ensuring that all pipeline and grading activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, technical drawings, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, construction management expertise, and a thorough understanding of heavy civil construction processes, including pipe installation and site grading.
Duties
- Lead and supervise field crews engaged in pipeline installation, grading, and related activities to ensure work is completed on time and within scope.
- Interpret blueprints and construction plans to guide daily operations accurately.
- Review construction drawings regularly to verify accuracy and resolve any discrepancies before execution.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets project specifications, schematics standards, and client expectations.
- Ensure proper interpretation of technical drawings for pipe layouts, grading plans, and schematics to facilitate precise installation.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction with a focus on pipeline installation and site grading.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a construction management role on large-scale projects.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA federal safety regulations related to construction sites.
- Construction site experience involving pipeline projects; prior supervising experience is highly valued.
