The Property Damage Rep II is responsible for appropriately handling, settling, and closing property damage (automobile) claims that are deemed a total loss by bringing a prompt and amicable resolution. This includes verifying coverage, opening claims, contacting first and third-party claimants, salvage facilities, and other parties involved, and investigating, negotiating, and settling claims based on company guidelines and applicable law.

Pay Range: $61,256-$77,255

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conclude all claims with an assigned probable or obvious total loss MOI with appropriate closing documents and reports signifying resolution in a timely manner.
- Conduct ongoing review of all assigned files focusing on required investigation, application of coverage endorsements and necessary documentation. Will keep the supervisor informed on claims’ progress as needed.
- Initiate appropriate action to conclude all claims in a manner consistent with existing law and multi-state regulations, utilizing company guidelines.
- Investigate, review, analyze, and evaluate losses of greater complexity expeditiously in preparation for a prompt resolution, utilizing strong negotiation skills.
- At least one year of property damage claims experience
- Requires strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver a high-quality customer service experience while showing empathy and kindness to customers in need.
- Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Technical aptitude, including a working knowledge with Microsoft Office.
- Mathematical and analytical acumen required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
- Ability to think critically, use resources and seek answers.
- Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- CT license is a plus.
