What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Engineer position at NJF Global Holdings Ltd?
I'm partnered with a quant trading firm looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join their high-performing, globally distributed technology team operating at the intersection of data, engineering, and complex systems.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to embed security into the core of modern software development.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partnering with engineering teams to build secure, scalable systems from the ground up
- Embedding security into the SDLC across a range of platforms and applications
- Leading threat modelling, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments
- Integrating security tooling (SAST, DAST, etc.) into CI/CD pipelines
- Securing cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, and others)
- Reviewing third-party vendors and strengthening overall risk posture
- Acting as a trusted advisor on secure coding and best practices
What we’re looking for:
- 5 years in product security or application security roles
- Strong development background (Python, C , Go, Rust, Java/Kotlin)
- Experience securing large-scale, distributed systems
- Deep understanding of cloud security and hybrid infrastructure
- Comfortable working across Linux and Windows environments
- Someone who can balance hands-on technical work with mentorship and influence
