NJ Myers and Son Inc. is a family-owned plumbing contracting company located in Westminster, Maryland. We specialize in commercial plumbing, including ground-up construction projects throughout the Baltimore area and surrounding counties.
With several new commercial construction projects starting soon, we're looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our growing team!
We welcome both apprentice and journeyman plumbers equally! Whether you're just starting your career in the plumbing trade or bringing years of experience, we want to hear from you. Positions Available
- Apprentice Plumbers: Individuals eager to learn the plumbing trade, develop their skills, and gain hands-on experience working on commercial construction projects.
- Journeyman Plumbers: Experienced plumbers who can work independently, read plans, install plumbing systems, and help keep projects moving efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems for commercial ground-up construction projects.
- Perform and assist with underground plumbing, rough-ins, water supply and drainage systems, and fixture installation.
- Read and follow construction plans and specifications.
- Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Work alongside team members and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
- Follow applicable plumbing codes and job-site safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Apprentice and journeyman plumber applicants are equally encouraged to apply.
- Previous plumbing or construction experience is a plus, but we're open to individuals eager to learn the trade.
- Journeyman applicants should have solid commercial plumbing experience.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
- Must have your own reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Must be willing to travel to job sites throughout the Baltimore area and surrounding counties.
