JOB DESCRIPTION: Under direction of a Supervisor of Nurses or other supervisory official in a state hospital, medical center, or other institution that provides medical assistance and/or guidance to the physically and/or mentally ill, is responsible for the care and well-being of the patients and the maintenance of quarters in an assigned area and supervises the work programs and activities of a staff of nurses providing care to patients in an assigned area; does related work as required.
Current Openings: Evenings-2:30pm-11pm or Nights: 10:30pm-7am/6:30pm-7am.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: One (1) year of experience as a professional nurse in a hospital, other institution, clinic, or medical center.
LICENSE: Registration as a professional nurse in the State of New Jersey.
Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
