Qualifications:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience performing the following:
- Prepare job or work orders
- Schedule various phases of projects into the production facility
- Oversee the progress planned and arrangements for adjustments in materials, and machines
- Use of automation support programs to input data and provide status of equipment
- Monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, and track repair parts status
Responsibilities:
As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER, GS-1152-9, you will:
- Establish plans and schedules for maintenance and repairs
- Responsible for data input of work order information, status changes, and supply updates
- Prioritizes resources to ensure the highest level of readiness
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller
