Niyam is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team in support of our work with a federal client. We offer competitive compensation and benefits. This position is remote, but may require occasional onsite meetings in DC.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC) including complex configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations
- Participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
- Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
- Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
- Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts
- Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance
Required Skills
- Must be US Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related equivalent
- Salesforce Certified App Builder
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required
- 4 years relevant Salesforce experience with Service Cloud
- 4 year of experience in Salesforce Development including declarative development, Custom Objects, Flows, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and developing custom Lightning components
- 3 years' experience with web technologies (HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript)
- 2 years' experience with OO analysis and design experience
- 2 years’ experience with data migration, conversion, clean up
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience using tools like JIRA and Gitlab
- Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Candidate must be able to supply proof of US Citizenship
- Knowledge of Software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in Salesforce CI/CD is required.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the company
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II preferred
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator preferred
- Salesforce Service Cloud preferred
- Experience working with federal clients a plus
