Our Project Finance, Infrastructure & Real Estate Department is looking to hire an Affordable Housing Associate to join our Washington, DC office .
The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience working on complex affordable housing or real estate matters involving the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) programs.Qualified candidates will have a demonstrated interest or focus on HUD regulatory and transactional issues, as well as a strong interest in real estate finance, housing and community development.Knowledge of federal, state and local real property, affordable housing and community development programs and regulations, including HUD programs such as project-based Section 8 Housing Assistance Payment (“HAP”) contracts, Rental Assistance Demonstration program (“RAD”) and other public housing repositioning tools is preferred.
Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, superb judgment and communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client services.
In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary range for this position is as follows.
