Company Overview
Gear Motions - Nixon Gear Division, a successful, growing progressive ISO 9000 registered manufacturing company seeks to fill a full time Shipping/Receiving Coordinator position on 1st shift (Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm). Overall responsibility to perform a variety of semi-routine duties to ship and receive various materials, supplies, and finished parts. High school or general equivalency diploma required. Experience in a shipping and receiving position in a manufacturing environment preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a variety of semi-routine duties to ship, receive, and maintain records for various materials, supplies, and finished parts.
- Complete appropriate paperwork to support department using Global Shop.
- Contact trucking companies to coordinate shipping details.
- Follow standard procedures in packing, unpacking, loading, unloading, and visual inspection.
- Receive and store incoming goods.
- Operate and maintain electric fork lift truck, as required.
- Move materials within the plant
