What You Will Do:
The Field Service Foreman will oversee assigned job site activities for safety, quality and productivity. This position is responsible for leading the daily activities on customer sites. On larger projects, this position may work under a Job Site Superintendent laterally with Foremen from other trades and/or subcontractors. On smaller projects, this position will be leading all on site efforts, reporting directly to the home office. When fieldwork/sitework is not available, this position will report to the shop to assist efforts.

Typical Work Performed:
- On-site metal fabrication
- Portable torch cutting, MIG welding, and arc welding
- Platform installation & minor steel erection
- Minor mechanical maintenance
- Equipment demo, relocation, and/or install
- Work closely with Project Manager or Site Superintendent to schedule equipment and labor resources
- Effectively communicate any issues or concerns with management
- Conduct morning tool box team meetings (in the absence of site superintendent)
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production goals and specific deadlines are met
- Assist Managers with performance reviews
- Conduct on the job training for new team members
- Monitor and report training requirements and needs of team members
- Oversee attendance and punctuality
- Manage consumables, tooling needs, and field supplies
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of all mobile equipment, tools, and customer sites
- Uphold all company and customer site safety and quality requirements
- Follow all company, customer site specific, and common-sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipment, when necessary.
- Prepare any safety or quality documentation as required

- Experience in welding and fabrication required
- Knowledge of steel dimensions and measurements required
- Ability to read blueprints, cut lists, tape measures, and angle finders required
- Certified welders are preferred but not required
- Crane rigging experience is required. Rigging certification is preferred but not required
- Industrial millwright & maintenance experience preferred
- Experience in industrial and structural fabrication and/or erection preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as required without assistance
- The ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment

- Some travel (week-long) may be required
