Role Overview
As a Google Workspace Engineer, you will manage and optimize our Google Workspace environment, ensuring seamless operations and robust security. This role is pivotal in supporting enterprise IT systems, driving automation, and collaborating with InfoSec to strengthen security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Google Workspace: Manage user lifecycle, group policies, and app settings (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Gemini, Notebook LM).
- Resolve IT Issues: Handle ServiceNow tickets promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Enhance Security: Implement security configurations and collaborate with InfoSec teams.
- Drive Innovation: Introduce AI and automation for efficiency and predictive analytics.
Required Skills & Experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in IT systems engineering and infrastructure support.
- Expertise in Google Workspace administration and Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migrations.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (preferably ServiceNow).
- Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, GAM) for automation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Security-focused mindset and experience with change/incident management.
