Position: Trust & Estate Specialist
Location: Concord, NH (Hybrid option available for local candidates)
Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and sign individual (1040), trust (1041), and gift (709) tax returns.
• Communicate tax results clearly and professionally to clients.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tax engagements and deadlines.
• Pull and analyze client information using various accounting software tools.
• Prepare tax liability projections and identify the need for amended returns.
• Assist with client tax notices and research complex tax issues.
• Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with attorneys and internal teams.
• Support trust and estate tax planning initiatives and documentation review.
• Maintain strong client relationships and assist in enhancing trust tax service offerings.
Required Qualifications:
• Active CPA designation (Required)
• Degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong tax expertise across trust, estate, individual, and gift tax filings
• Prior public accounting or client-facing tax experience
• Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication, organizational ability, and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to new software and tools
• Willingness to commute or relocate to Concord, NH (Hybrid available for local talent)
