Senior Project Accountant

About This Opportunity

Nitto Avecia is looking to hire a Senior Project Accountant. The Senior Project Accountant will manage financial aspects of specific projects, using SAP software, to perform duties such as tracking project profitability, monotoring budgets, and ensuring financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on the financial performance of individual projects.
• Analyze project costs and identify variances between actual and budgted amounts.
• Manage project-related accounting tasks, including preparing journal entries, account reconcilliations, and assisting with month-end close.
• Work with team on revenue recognition and reconciling in revenue to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
• Ensure projects adhere to contractual and financial guidelines.
• Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to provide financial insignts.
• Perform related tasks as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications/ Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 3 years of accounting experience in a mid to large size company is required.
• Substantial exerience with an enterprise software system (SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards). Experience using SAP HANA is a plus
• Strong project management skills, analytic, and detail focused with the ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines
• Advanced Excell skills
• Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally with a wide variety of people on a wide range of projects.
  
  
  

The annualized salary range for this role is $85,000.00 - $102,400.00.
