Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing processes and ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in a factory or warehouse environment. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team, optimize production workflows, and maintain high-quality standards.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the production floor, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule production activities to meet output targets.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine maintenance checks to minimize downtime.
- Implement efficient assembly line processes and oversee the fabrication of products as per specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to manufacturing processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience working in a factory or warehouse setting with a solid understanding of assembly line operations.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in monitoring production quality.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and management.
Experience/Qualifications
- 3 years Supervisor Experience Required
- 3 years Welding and/or Trailer Assembly Preferred
- Experience managing workflows, training new hires, setting expectations, resolving issues and fostering a positive work environment
