WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR
Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Warranty Administrator.
The purpose of the Warranty Administrator is to process warrany claims for service vehicles and collect funding from the manufacturer and outsdie warranty companies for those claims.
Job Responsibilities
- Work all dealers' claims completely, daily; and pursues payment in an accurate and timely fashion
- Resolve dealer compliance issues
- Book claims
- Close claims
- Submit claims for payment
- Account for and clear differences in payment
- Maintain a clean warranty receivable schedule regularly
- Maintain appropriate certifications and knowledge of updated P&P
- Help dealership stay compliant with manufacturer's policy
- Keep up-to-date with all factory recalls, announcements, and procedures
- Communicates with service technicians to define the scope of a warranty claim resolution and to set expectations
- Provides administrative assistance as needed
- Provides timely and accurate reports as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Required Skills
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Strong organization and time managment skills
- Good working knowledge of DMS software
- Knowledge of automotive dealership service departments
- General understanding of accounting
- Proficient at reading technician stories and applying appropriate labor codes
- Certified or trained in at least one manufactorer
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma; at least two years related experience.
