Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have experience in Dealership Accounting, along with proficiency in automotive accounting software such as Dealertrack.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely billing and collections.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Assist with governmental accounting requirements as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions and audits.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.
• Familiarity with dealership accounting software such as Dealertrack.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is a plus.
• Experience in public accounting is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
