Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AUTOMOTIVE Controller to join our finance team.

The Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards, and managing financial reporting processes. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities who can effectively manage budgets, cash flow, and financial software systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in public accounting and possess the expertise to drive financial performance while maintaining the integrity of financial data.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards in all financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Manage budgeting processes and provide variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Implement and maintain internal controls in accordance with SOX requirements.
- Oversee cash management activities to optimize liquidity and working capital.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and public accounting practices.
- Proficiency in financial software systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, cash management, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,393.00 - $145,265.00 per year
