JOB SUMMARY: Perform cage cashier duties according to department policy and procedure. Responsible for assigned bank drawers. Promote positive guest relations. Accurately and quickly handle a variety of money transactions.
Requirements
Required skills and knowledge:
- 1 year of cash handling experience
- 6 months of front line guest service experience
- Previous 10-key experience
- Basic math skills
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License
- 6 months of Cage Cashier or casino experience
- High volume cash handling experience
- Knowledge of Title 31
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for assigned shift.
- Manual and finger dexterity for operation of equipment.
- Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
- Knowledge of departmental Guest Service Standards.
- Knowledge of casino promotions.
- Receive and exchange cash and chips for guest.
- Perform check cashing and credit card cash advances for guests.
- Process and completes fills and credit transactions.
- Receive and verify cash from Count Room.
- Prepare cash drawer reconciliation and accounting records.
- Serve as cashier for Main Bank, Main Bank 2, Main Bank 3, and Fill/Revenue Bank.
- Perform sale and redemption of slot tickets for guests.
- Operate currency counters and coin jet sorters in a high volume environment.
- Accurately and efficiently load currency cassettes and hoppers.
- Accurately and efficiently complete required documents and forms.
- Perform ATM, TRK and CRK fills, credits and reconciliation.
- Prepare daily bank deposits.
- Receive, issue and verify casino wide operating banks and revenue by department.
- Monitor and record Title 31 transactions for compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
