Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on store products and services
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash register operations
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and manage cash drawer handling with accuracy and integrity
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Maintain stock levels through stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing inventory
• Assist in product knowledge sharing and answer customer questions with clear communication skills
• Uphold phone etiquette when addressing inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support store operations by performing retail math calculations for transactions and pricing adjustments
• Engage in cashiering duties with attention to detail, ensuring accurate retail math and cash handling procedures
• Participate in supervising experience by guiding new team members or assisting with store tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math principles
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base better
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances your fit for this role
• Knowledge of cashiering procedures including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Basic math skills necessary for transactions, pricing adjustments, and inventory counts

Pay: $22.22 - $26.76 per hour
