Industrial Electrician

Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $35.00 – $40.00/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Operations & Maintenance team in Melville, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing, commercial, logistics, or cleanroom environment.
The successful candidate should have experience diagnosing electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, HVAC equipment, lighting, and other facility equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance electrician experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with 480V three-phase electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving PLCs, motors, VFDs, electrical controls, and industrial equipment.
- Experience with CMMS software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain facility security credentials.
- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one if required.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
- No visa sponsorship available.
- Must successfully pass:
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Respirator medical evaluation and fit test
