What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Truck Driver - Paid Training for CDL A School Grads position at NIS EXPRESS?
Ready to bring some predictability back to your driving career? We're hiring both experienced OTR drivers and recent CDL school graduates for a regional route east of I-35, home every 12 days for 2 full days off.
- Average weekly gross: $1,300 to $1,500,
- Top performers average $1,750
- 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week
- Schedule: 12 days out, 2 days home
- 100% no-touch dry van freight, 70% drop and hook, 30% live unload
- All runs east of I-35, no NYC
- 2022 or newer Freightliner or Kenworth, automatic, APU standard
- Truck assigned to you only, no slip seating
- Take-home available for qualifying drivers
New to the industry?
- 4 to 6 weeks paid one-on-one OTR training
- Guaranteed weekly pay during training, full solo pay once you upgrade
- $300 paid orientation week, travel and hotel covered

Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL, no OTR restrictions
- Active DOT medical card
- At least 21 years of age
- 6 months of verifiable experience or 120 hours from an approved CDL academy
- No major violations or accidents on your driving record, no red flags on a background check, and a clean pre-employment drug test
