Responsibilities
- Direct vehicles safely into designated parking spots, including valet parking services when required
- Monitor parking lot conditions to ensure safety, security, and proper flow of traffic
- Assist customers with parking inquiries, directions, and general information
- Operate cash registers to process cash transactions accurately for parking fees or services
- Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of barriers, signage, or equipment as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of the parking area to identify hazards or maintenance needs
- Manage parking management systems and record transactions with precision using basic math and numeracy skills
- Handle conflict management situations professionally, resolving customer concerns promptly and courteously
- Maintain outdoor work standards by ensuring the parking lot remains clean, organized, and secure
Experience
- Previous experience in valet parking, retail math, or dealership environments is advantageous but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely in outdoor settings
- Experience operating standard passenger cars and driving in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with cash handling, cashiering, and processing cash transactions accurately
- Outgoing personality with excellent conflict management skills and a customer-focused approach
- Prior outdoor work experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to work flexible hours is essential
Pay: $20.51 - $27.11 per hour
