We are urgently recruiting in the Akron area and we want to hear from you today.
Nirvana Services LLC is a DODD certified Medicaid Waiver provider supporting individuals with developmental disabilities across Ohio. We staff one to one, we pay well, and we look after the people who work for us.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Akron, Ohio, supporting one individual after school.
Hours, said plainly: this is a part time role. During the school year the hours are Tuesday to Friday, about 2:15 to 5:30 PM. On school holidays, breaks and in the summer there is a full day option, weekdays about 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
MEDICATION CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Category 2 (G/J tube) medication administration certification, or a current Category 1 certification. This is required for this opening.
PAY: $17 to $20 an hour depending on experience and certifications. We pay well, and a medication certification opens the better paid placements.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Dependable, calm and on time. One to one support after school.
Medication certification as above
Current CPR and First Aid certification
DODD 8 hour orientation certificate, or willingness to complete it
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation to the Akron area
Experience as a DSP, STNA, medical assistant, home health aide or caregiver is welcome
