What are the responsibilities and job description for the ROC Manager position at Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation?
The ROC Manager role is based out of the Irving, TX Office inside the Remote Operations Center, reporting to the ASU Remote Operations Director. The primary responsibility is to manage the ROC.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for safety, quality, and financial performance of the Remote Operations Center.
- Manage 24/7 remote production operation to include production planning, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Responsible for maintaining ISO Certification through continual dynamics.
- Manage the ROC’s Quality Management System including assisting with Management Reviews, Audits, ISO, etc.
- Manage the ROC staff to include scheduling, payroll, training & development, performance management, and other human relations activities.
- Manage ROC recruitment and onboarding.
- Manage yearly evaluations for a staff.
- Manage ROC projects using engineering principles and project management best practice
- Manage Department Incident Reports pertaining to the ROC.
- Ensure all ROC personnel stay FDA compliant through revision and yearly refresher training.
- Develop and manage quality control processes to improve production reliability.
- Work with staff, management, engineers, and customers to develop new standards for production.
- Participate in and lead small improvement projects (SIP) and The Right Way (TRW) projects.
- Troubleshoot systems and assist in plant operations. Solve complex problems working with manufacturing staff, contractors, suppliers and customers.
