Liquid Paint Production Packaging Specialist

If you’re detail-driven, safety-focused, and proud of clean, accurate work, you’ll feel at home in NPAA’s Small Paint Plant (SPP). In this role, you’ll execute batch filling with the Automated Pail Filling Room, scales/load cells, mixers, pumps, and filling machines—while pitching in across Operations to keep production flowing.

Your mission

• Follow SOPs, batch tickets, process sheets, and safety practices without exception.
• Operate and monitor automated pail-filling systems and related equipment for consistent, on-spec batches.
• Package finished goods in the correct containers per customer-specific IDIOS and prepare accurate labels.
• Use a forklift safely to move materials and finished product.
• Join improvement teams and contribute practical ideas to enhance safety, quality, and throughput.
• Identify off-quality indicators and trigger corrective steps using established abnormal process procedures.
• Finish orders in the LPP process using SAP, Microsoft Access Database, and Microsoft Office.
• Keep work areas spotless and organized to meet housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks and care to ensure dependable operation.
• Support additional Operations tasks outside of LPP when needed.
• Move waste to the 90-day Storage Area from the point of generation.
• Close and label waste containers precisely, following NPAA procedures.

Compensation

$17.39 to $25.75. Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skill set.
