Step into our application booth and lab, power up the spray equipment you calibrated, and begin applying coating samples for R&D testing. You’ll set up and fine-tune application tools, prepare and spray test panels, log data with precision, and run laboratory instruments to confirm coating quality. Throughout the day, you’ll raise any discrepancies to your supervisor, the Technical Team, Laboratory Manager, or Chemists, and you’ll execute additional customer-specified samples on the application system. Safety, cleanliness, and equipment care guide everything you do, and you keep maintenance on schedule. Your work consistently aligns with ISO/TS, Honda, Toyota, and other customer standard operating procedures.

What you’ll do- Prepare, calibrate, and operate application equipment to apply coating samples for research and development tests.
- Operate laboratory testing instruments to verify coating quality.
- Prepare and spray panels; collect, organize, and report data.
- Escalate issues to the supervisor, Technical Team, Laboratory Manager, or Chemists.
- Run additional samples on the application system as specified by the customer.
- Apply rigorous safety practices; maintain cleanliness and perform routine equipment care.
- Compile data results and consult with your supervisor as needed.
- Follow ISO/TS, Honda, Toyota, and other customer SOPs in all work.
- Complete preventive maintenance per the defined schedule.
- Assist other departments when needed.
- Support special projects as assigned.
- Participate in 6S and other corporate initiatives.
- Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Experience: 0–5 years of prior coating application experience preferred.
- Skills: Ability to perform mathematical conversions; strong written, verbal, and organizational abilities; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Hourly range: $19.00 to $28.32; Annual range: $39,520.00 to $56,640.00. Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skillset.
Working environmentYou’ll rotate between office, application booth, laboratory, and production settings. The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 45lbs.
