This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of our chemical products.
Position Responsibilities
$17.39 to $25.75. Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skill set.

A leading manufacturer of liquid coatings and surface treatment chemicals is currently seeking a Production Operator to join our Liquid Division, supporting operations at our Cleveland facility. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of our chemical products.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients using appropriate forms and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to determine batch amounts and equipment needs.
- Operate, stage, and maintain manufacturing equipment according to posted conditions, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
- Record data accurately on batch tickets, equipment logs, and quality testing results; complete required quality checks.
- Fill and secure mixed products into designated containers and move them to the warehouse staging area.
- Communicate any issues or abnormalities to the team leader or supervisor and attend all required company-sponsored training.
- Handle hazardous and general liquid waste properly, ensuring containers are labeled, covered, and staged; report all accidents, near misses, and property damage promptly.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a basic math test.
- Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Additional Competencies
- Ability to make simple independent decisions and perform basic math (addition, subtraction).
- Comfortable converting units (e.g., grams to pounds) and using quality control tools.
- Skilled in safely operating pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks, and other equipment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering drums up to 440 lbs.
