Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes efficiently using appropriate hand tools and power tools, ensuring all vehicle specifications are met.
- Conduct tire rotations and inspections, to optimize vehicle safety and performance.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
- Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify mechanical issues and communicate findings clearly.
- Support the team with vehicle inspections to detect mechanical problems early and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards during heavy lifting and tool operation.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering customer questions professionally.
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or automotive service background is highly preferred.
- Hands-on mechanic experience with automotive repair, diagnostics, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and alignments.
- Experience in tire service, oil changes, and basic mechanical repairs is a strong plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Strong customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude toward sales and maintenance recommendations.
