What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Materials Laboratory Technician position at Ninyo & Moore?
Job Description: Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has an immediate opening for a construction materials testing Lab Technician in Las Vegas, Nevada. Duties will include performing lab testing, the maintenance of laboratory equipment, data files, reports, letters, and other pertinent field data. The successful candidate will also maintain clear communications with the Project Manager / Supervisor regarding all aspects of the lab operations, such as providing neat and orderly project documents.
Required Skills: The successful candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of previous asphalt, aggregate, and/or concrete testing experience. Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, ability to work independently, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Preferred Certifications:
- ACI Concrete Strength, Aggregate Testing
- NAQTC Sampling & Density (SD), Aggregate (AG), and Asphalt (AS) or Asphalt Extended (AE),
