Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Partner to join our team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to families in crisis, assisting them in navigating available resources and services.
- Facilitate communication between families and service providers, ensuring that the family's voice is heard in all decision-making processes.
- Assist families in developing coping strategies and skills for managing stress and conflict.
- Conduct assessments to identify family needs and develop individualized support plans.
- Collaborate with social workers, behavioral health professionals, and other stakeholders to coordinate care for families.
- Educate families about their rights within the child welfare system and provide guidance on family law matters.
- Maintain accurate documentation of interactions with families and progress toward goals.
Experience
- Previous experience in crisis management or conflict management is highly desirable.
- Background in social work or behavioral health is preferred, with a focus on children’s services.
- Familiarity with child welfare systems, childcare practices, and child protective services is essential.
- Experience working directly with children and families in various settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques will be beneficial for this role.
