Kitchen Team Member
* Starting pay $15/hr
* Paid Daily
* Must be available Nights & Weekends

Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with food handling and storage procedures to ensure freshness and prevent contamination
- Support meal preparation during busy hours by slicing ingredients, topping pizzas, and managing portioning tasks
- Follow safety standards in production, including proper knife skills and slicing techniques
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service
- Assist with catering events or special orders as needed to meet customer expectations
Skills
- Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling protocols
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques
- Proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment
- Solid understanding of food safety management practices and sanitation standards
- Experience in restaurant or food service settings with a focus on food industry best practices
- Ability to follow detailed instructions for cooking, slicing techniques, and food presentation
