Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator.
Responsibilities
- Full knowledge of estimating different jobs including saddle stitching, die cutting, gluing, all sort of binding ( Wire-O, Coil and Perfect Binding) and other related jobs in order to understand how to price these jobs.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator/computer to accurately figure cutting and folding.
- Follow established guidelines and procedures.
- Exhibit ability to take verbal instructions while taking notes to properly produce assigned projects.
- Exhibit excellence in customer service and the ability to serve others.
- Excellent time-management, ability to manage deadlines
- Smart and self-reliant, able to produce great work with minimal supervision and within tight timelines.
- Ability to work independently and find the best solutions for a problem.
- Detail-oriented, excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-starter and highly organized.
Qualifications
- Qualified candidates will be high integrity individuals who are adaptable, innovative, and team player.
- Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 year professional level work experience in a bindery estimating or a commercial printing facility.
- Candidates must have communication and interpersonal skills.
