Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Refrigeration Foreman to lead on-site installation and service teams for commercial and industrial refrigeration projects in Chino, CA and surrounding areas. This is a key leadership position, responsible for coordinating field activities, supervising technicians, and ensuring that all refrigeration systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supermarket or cold storage refrigeration, the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and proven experience managing teams on job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation crews on refrigeration projects from start to finish
- Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment required for job sites
- Interpret and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and project timelines
- Troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on support when needed
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Maintain accurate job reports, daily logs, and progress updates
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration installation and service
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems (rack systems, walk-ins, display cases, etc.)
- Familiarity with EMS/controls systems (CPC, Danfoss, Emerson, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel to local job sites daily
