What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction CAM Programmer position at Nino Development?

With over six decades of success, they’ve built their reputation on quality craftsmanship, strong customer relationships, and a culture of respect and appreciation for their team.The CAM Programmer will collaborate closely with both engineering and manufacturing teams to develop CNC programs and fixture designs that drive efficient production. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Mastercam and CAD design.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create and optimize CAM programs for milling and turning operations using Mastercam.
- Design and model both hard and soft work-holding fixtures for CNC and secondary processes.
- Develop and revise 2D/3D designs based on engineering and production feedback.
- Analyze G-code to troubleshoot and enhance machining performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5 years as a power CAD user, preferably with Inventor.
- Proficiency with Mastercam (Mill 3D and Turning).
- Background in CNC manufacturing and fixture design.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 5-axis machining.
- Familiarity with CMM or manual inspection methods.
- Exposure to 3D printing technologies.
