Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Job Overview:

Our company is seeking an organized and motivated Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee roofing installation and renovation projects. This role requires managing project timelines, budgets, and personnel to ensure successful completion and high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans in coordination with clients and team members.
• Team Management: Direct the activities of roofing crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project progress.
• Client Communication: Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any project-related concerns.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor work quality and compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
• Cost Control: Track project expenses, manage budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Problem-Solving: Quickly address issues that arise on the job site to minimize delays and keep the project on track.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in commercial roofing or construction.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with various commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, etc.) and installation techniques.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in project management software (such as Procore or Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Project Management: Strong ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
