Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant reservation systems to ensure efficient seating
- Maintain clear and friendly communication with guests via phone and in person, demonstrating proper phone
- Process guest payments accurately using POS systems, handle cash and credit transactions with basic math skills
- Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Support food safety standards by adhering to sanitation and hygiene protocols during service
- Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth guest flow, timely seating, and efficient table turnover
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Experience managing restaurant reservations and using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables and reservations effectively
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and guest focus
- Hospitality or food service experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
