Duties
Monday-Saturday
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and similar commercial vehicles with ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, maintaining proper handling procedures
- Deliver packages directly to customers’ locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries accurately
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries
- Pay will increase with proven work ethic and attendance
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or heavy vehicles
- This is a team job you will mainly be assisting driver and help delivery and installs
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries politely and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently during load & unload operations
- Experience
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and moving goods within storage facilities is advantageous
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws
- Must be able to pass drug test
