Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food service and enjoy working in a fast-paced culinary setting.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the culinary team by providing clean dishes in a timely manner during peak service times.
- Help with inventory management by keeping track of dishware and reporting any shortages or damages.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness in all tasks performed.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed within the kitchen operations.
