Order Fulfillment SpecialistPosition Overview
The Order Fulfillment Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring customer orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This position is responsible for receiving completed products, picking customer orders, performing quality checks, packing merchandise, and preparing shipments for delivery. Success in this role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
This is an active, hands-on position that requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders by locating products and verifying SKUs to ensure speed and accuracy.
- Perform quality inspections on all merchandise prior to packaging and shipment.
- Pack retail, wholesale, and custom orders according to company standards.
- Apply required UPC labels, tags, and other packaging materials to wholesale orders.
- Process and ship orders using the ShipStation platform while selecting the most cost-effective shipping method.
- Verify customer shipping information to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory organization and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Meet daily productivity and quality goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, or distribution experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse software such as ShipStation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Work Schedule
First Shift: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime opportunities are available and may be mandatory during peak business seasons, particularly from October through December, to meet customer demand.
