We are expanding our wholesale and private-label business, and are seeking a high-performing sales professional to grow our presence across contemporary fashion retailers, online platforms, and private-label partners.
Position Summary
We are hiring a Sales Representative to help drive growth across:
- Contemporary digital retailers & specialty boutiques
- Private-label & exclusive retail programs
This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening key strategic retailer relationships, and collaborating closely with design and production teams to bring compelling product assortments to market.
Ideal candidates will bring experience in one or both areas β contemporary wholesale and/or private label development β and a proven ability to manage buyer relationships, grow accounts, and deliver results.
This position is in-office at our New York headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and expand partnerships with contemporary retailers & online fashion platforms
- Manage and grow independent specialty retail accounts nationwide
- Source and pitch private-label and exclusive capsule partnerships
- Present seasonal collections and product concepts to buyers
- Collaborate with design & development on product assortments and retail needs
- Manage sales forecasts, buying cycles, and reporting
- Oversee key account communication, calendar milestones, and program execution
- Monitor sell-through, market trends, pricing, and competitive activity
- Attend trade shows, markets, and retail appointments as needed
Required Account Experience
Candidates must have proven experience directly working with the following retailers for the role(s) they qualify for.
Contemporary Wholesale Track
β Direct working relationships selling experience with:
- Shopbop
- Revolve.com
- Tuckernuck
Private Label Track
β Direct experience developing private-label assortments with:
- Anthropologie
- Tuckernuck
- Stitch Fix
Candidates without experience working with the relevant accounts above will not be considered.
Qualifications
- 3 years in wholesale sales, private-label development, or related fashion category
- Experience in footwear, accessories, or apparel preferred
- Strong buyer relationships and proven track record driving account growth
- Ability to understand margin structures, costing, and retail calendars
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple account workflows
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
- Must be NYC-based and able to work in-office daily
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
