Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Creative Instagram Content Editor & Scheduler to elevate our clients social media presence through engaging Reels and Posts. Duties
- Develop and curate captivating Reels and static posts that align with brand messaging and marketing campaigns
- Edit video clips, images, and graphics to produce polished, engaging content suitable for Instagram's platform specifications
- Schedule posts and Reels using social media management tools to optimize reach and engagement
- Proofread all captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand voice
- Conduct research on current social media trends, hashtags, and audience preferences to inform content strategy
- Fact-check all content for accuracy and consistency with brand standards and style guides such as AP style or Chicago Manual of Style
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts, proposals, and content calendars that support campaign goals
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice through creative writing, copy editing, and technical writing as needed
- Monitor engagement metrics to evaluate content performance and recommend improvements for future posts
Experience
- Proven experience in editing visual content for social media platforms, especially Instagram Reels and Posts
- Strong proficiency in photo/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Canva)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling captions and narratives
- Demonstrated ability to proofread, copy edit, and fact-check content with high attention to detail
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Later, Hootsuite or Buffer
- Experience in research-based content creation within journalism or creative writing fields is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Experience with medspa, beauty, or wellness content
- Experience with high-volume editing
- Familiarity with UGC-style content
