Job Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, driveline, suspension, steering, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Complete heavy line repairs including engine replacements, transmission repairs, and major mechanical system overhauls
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using OEM diagnostic tools and equipment
- Perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership quality guidelines
- Clearly communicate repair findings and recommendations with service advisors
- Accurately document all work performed on repair orders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience specifically as a Heavy Line Technician
- Transmission experience is a plus
- ASE Certifications are a plus
- GM Certification is a plus
- Strong diagnostic capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
