Job Title: HVAC Service Technician & Installer, ExperiencedWork start and end time: 7:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (evenings, weekends and overtime on occasion); On-call rotation required.Pay Scale: $56,000-$74,000 Spiffs Benefits Position Summary: To provide service on and installation of residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or its equivalent• Valid and insurable driver's license• 2 years field experience doing HVAC service and installation• Insurable driving record• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.• Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.• Experience making repair and replace decisions.• Ability to acquire low voltage license within 2 years of employment.• Advanced customer service skills.• Acquire NATE certifications within one year of employment.• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.• Operate scissors and genie lifts in safe manner.• Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.• Proficient in installing Gas Pipe• Proficient in installing Refrigeration Pipe• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systemsQualifications desired:• Universal EPA Certification• Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School• NATE Certified • Possess tools needed
