Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (Angular/Java/AWS)
Location: Richmond, VA or McLean, VA (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite per week)

About the Role:
Client seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on front-end development (60% Angular / 40% Java) to join our client s technology team. The ideal candidate will be a former Capital One contractor or employee, capable of building scalable, cloud-native solutions using Angular, Java/Spring Boot, and AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable web applications using Angular and Java/Spring Boot.
Work within an Agile environment, collaborating across teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
Partner with digital product managers and stakeholders to create intuitive, high-performing UI experiences.
Leverage cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications.
Use JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, and modern frameworks to build robust user interfaces.
Integrate applications with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and other container orchestration tools to support microservices-based architecture.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 years of full-stack development experience.
Strong, recent experience with Angular (modern versions).
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, ECS, EC2, etc.).
Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and responsive UI design.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration abilities, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working at Capital One (required only candidates with previous Capital One experience will be considered).
Experience with microservices, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to NoSQL databases and modern application architectures.
Additional Information:
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 2-3 days per week onsite in Richmond or McLean, VA.
Contract Duration: 6 months initial, expected to extend through end of 2026.
Salary : $50 - $60
