Job Description
An Architect / Designer at Niles Bolton Associates responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Development of project design, code research, and produce construction documentation.
- Coordination of the construction documents that accurately implement the design intent.
- Attending meetings with the project team, consultants, and client to discuss and develop the design, document decisions, and next steps.
- Manage construction administration processes by making site visits and addressing technical issues with guidance from the project team.
- Coordination with engineering, consultants, clients, contractors, and building officials to meet overall project objectives.
- Managing junior staff across all phases of design and construction administration.
- Support Project Manager in development of project timelines.
- Professional degree
- 3-6 years of experience in multifamily / mixed-use architecture is preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of building materials, specifications, and construction administration processes.
- Experience coordinating with engineering disciplines.
- Revit and SketchUp proficiency
