Role Description
The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities include supporting the planning and implementation of HR policies, managing employee relations, administering benefits, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role will also involve collaborating with leadership teams, overseeing HR management activities, and maintaining employee records while promoting a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Manage end-to-end recruitment for internal staff positions
• Onboard new hires and maintain employee records and documentation
• Administer employee benefits, payroll coordination, and compliance tracking
• Handle HR policies, employee relations, and performance management processes
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (NJ-specific)
• Support visa and work authorization tracking for consultants (H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT)
• Coordinate with finance/accounting on payroll-related matters
• Maintain HR systems and assist with reporting and audits
• Help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture
